Medical Secretary at the Oncology Clinic in Västerås

Job Responsibilities

As a medical secretary with us, you have a central and significant role. Together with the other members of the secretary group, you are responsible for providing administrative service to all units within the clinic. The tasks include standard medical secretary duties, including scheduling, as well as working with statistics and registration in various cancer registers, where each secretary has their own area of responsibility. Reception work may also occur.

The Oncology Clinic in Västerås consists of outpatient care, day care unit, inpatient care unit, radiation therapy, and our unit for cancer rehabilitation. The clinic currently has about 130 employees, and the care is based on a holistic view of the human being, which means taking into account physical, psychological, social, and existential factors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary, preferably with a few years of experience in the profession. Experience with the Cosmic journal system, scheduling, and disease classification (DRG) is also an advantage. Furthermore, we see that you have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You have a positive attitude towards other administrative tasks beyond the usual secretary duties.

As a person, you are confident and stable with good self-awareness. You work independently and in a structured manner, planning and prioritizing your work effectively even when the pace is high. You enjoy taking initiative, driving issues forward, and ensuring that tasks are completed. At the same time, you have a flexible attitude and can quickly adapt to new conditions and see opportunities in changes. You communicate clearly and collaborate well with others. Through your engagement and positive attitude, you contribute to a good atmosphere and cooperation within the team. Your approach is characterized by calmness, attentiveness, and a sense of service, with an interest and ability to help others.

Employment Conditions

Permanent position, Full-time.

Location: Västerås

Start date by agreement.
